Jessica Alba: Life as a Mom Moves ‘So Fast’

Friday, July 24, 2009
Jessica Alba’s life has been marked by change since welcoming daughter Honor Marie, 13 months, and now the changes are coming more quickly than ever. “Life moves so fast as a new mom,” she notes in the August/September issue of Fit Pregnancy magazine. “Sometimes I wish time would slow down.”

Not to mention Honor, who is “so mobile” now Jessica has had to become a “constant watchdog.” Not that she’d change a thing! Jessica, 28, adds,

“Every milestone is memorable, from the numerous wardrobe changes in her first five months due to her explosive diarrhea to the first time she said, ‘Mama.’”

If she has any advice for other first-time moms, it would be to trust your instincts — and don’t overstep. “What works for you may not work for others and vice versa,” she elaborates. “I have also found that it’s more useful to stop and listen than to try and always have the answers.”

Divorce from husband Blake Fielder-Civil now official

Sunday, July 19, 2009
Amy Winehouse has officially been divorced from husband Blake Fielder-Civil after two years of scandal-ridden marriage.

The divorce hearing at the High Court in London, filed for by Blake (27), took just 75 seconds.

According to ‘The Sun’, Blake cited the singer’s alleged affair as reason for the split.

She was spotted on holiday in the Caribbean with actor Joshua Bowman.

Bowman said that they were just friends, but the 27-year-old hired a lawyer to divorce Amy at the start of the year whilst he was serving a jail sentence for bodily harm.

He also allegedly fathered a child with another woman whilst he was married to her - and this year he will become a dad when his girlfriend Gileen Morris, who he met in rehab, gives birth.

Amy Winehouse can only despair.

On Tuesday the singer (25) arrived at Gatwick airport in London after eight months in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. She had crocodile tears from her impending divorce.

Or was she crying over the share of her €12 million fortune drug addict Blake could take from her?

Just a few months ago, Amy said that she wanted Blake back: “I still love my Blake. I won’t let him divorce me. I love him because he’s just like me.

"Blake is the male version of me. We’re perfect for each other.”

Under British law the divorce is provisional at the moment. It will be made permanent after six weeks and one day, but this marriage is over - everything else is just a formality.
